The thing that I really love about Skybreaker is that the theme, and the general storyline of the story is so interesting.  In this book, Matt Cruse, Kate, a young woman called Nadira, Hal, the captain of the Sagamartha, and the Saga’s crew are chasing after a ship called the Hyperion, which is extremely wealthy, and many captains of airships have had dreams of recovering the Hyperion, and becoming very, very wealthy in the process.

The problem was that the Hyperion was a floating airship that had been floating for over 40 years at 40,000 feet, a distance far too high for airships to reach.  Hal’s ship, the Sagamartha is a new type of ship that was able to operate at the very high distances that the Hyperion was floating at, due to the pressurized interior.  However, a band of pirates are also trying to salvage the Hyperion, and it is a race against time, whether they can reach the Hyperion before the pirates can.  Everyone on the Saga manages to reach the Hyperion, but they discover deadly creatures, called Aerozoans, which can electrocute and kill a fully grown man.  When exploring the Hyperion after reaching it, they find a lot of designs of many wonderful and fabulous machines, but they aren’t able to find the gold that was supposed to be there.  The problems escalate when the band of pirates are spotted, and they board the Hyperion, and Matt, Nadira, Kate and Hal are all trapped aboard. With no hesitation, I would most certainly rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.  When reading, I never felt like I was bored, and I never felt like stopping and reading the rest later.  I really loved this book, and I would definitely read it again and again.
