I think this book is really interesting because it has Indian mythology, which I don’t see very often. This book is super interesting, because it is quite different from other books, and because it has a lot of unexpected things, plot twists, and a lot of action, fun and loyalty. Also, this book is definitely 5 stars, and I would recommend it to kids 9 and up. This is also a good introduction to Indian mythology as well. In this book, Aru Shah, a 12 year old girl lights a lamp because her school classmates told her to, but the lamp is cursed, and when it is lit, something called The Sleeper emerges, making everyone in his path frozen. She is then introduced to a world of demons, gods, and goddesses. She meets one of 4 sisters in a different dimension, she is introduced to a court of gods, and she realises she and her sisters are Pandavas, reincarnations of the 5 legendary brothers. She only has one week to stop The Sleeper. Can she do it?
